Watch Philadelphia Police Commisioner Charles Ramsey get dumped with ice water, then follow him on his new Twitter acct.

For a department that prides it self on its social media program, and was named one of the 50 most Social Media Friendly Police Departments, a lot of folks have wondered why the Chief himself didn’t have an account, well now he does.

About two hours ago Philadelphia Police Commissioner Charles Ramsey released this tweet, his first tweet.

The tweet also included a video of him being dumped with a bucket of ice water to participate in the ALS ice bucket challenge. According to the video he was nominated by Philadelphia FOP President John McNesby. He then turned and challenged Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter, Chief of Staff Everett Gillison and several other figureheads from various police associations Ramsey is president of.
