A new adaptation of the classic German story will premiere this December at the Skybox at the Adrienne Theatre in Philadelphia!
The tale centers around Marie, a shy young woman who is unimpressed by vanity and disillusioned by the shallow qualities of the world she observes. Her sister Louise is outgoing and quite popular and doesn’t understand Marie’s dark moods. Marie’s father is a prominent doctor and only wants the best for both of his daughters.
One fateful night around Christmas their story unfolds.This is a dance theater show for mature audiences and features both terrifying and erotic moments, impressive ballerinas, and lavish sensual costumes.
The cast features Dolce La Vita, Lelu Lenore, Sarah Robinson, Danny De Ville, Aloha Lura, Renée Rebelle, and Annie A-Bomb.
Written by Jamie Graham and Anna Frangiosa, lighting design by Andrew J. Cowles, sound design by Row Walters, directed by Anna Frangiosa, and choreography by Christine Fisler
