Tipster Leads Philly Police to Alleged Face-Slasher – The Philadelphia Police Department has arrested a 30 year old man for allegedly robbing and brutally assaulting a 23 year old woman.


The AP reports the flu is “widespread” throughout the state andresponsible for the deaths of 23 people, including one infant. Hospitals are inundated and some have taken special measures to deal with the influx of cases.

And in an update to a story reported in yesterday’s Evening Roundup, police have cleared a Brooklyn Nets player of wrongdoing in the rape of a woman at a Philadelphia Hotel, reports NY1.
