The website http://bishopaccountability.org/ has released a trove of documents from the Archdiocese of Philadelphia’s “Secret Archives,” records kept by the church of internal complaints against clergy for improper conduct involving parishioners (especially children). The existence of these Secret Archives (the actual term the Archdiocese uses for the files) has been discussed in open court during the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s case against Father Charles Engelhardt and teacher Bernard Shero, accused of abusing a boy in the late 1990’s at St. Jerome’s Parish.

A group of GOP representatives in the PA house has introduced a “Right to Work” package of legislation they say claim will counteract economic pitfalls of “compulsory unionization.”

“Charter School mogul” Dorothy June Brown, founder of several Philadelphia charter schools, has had an additional 5 charges filed against her by the US Attorney, for a total of 67 federal charges. Philly Mag reports.
