Mayor Michael Nutter sets sights on Philadelphia’s gun trade, via Philly.com. Nutter says he wants to “use the city’s financial weight” to put pressure on manufacturers and sellers. Interestingly, he also wants to include a set of 20 “Sandy Hook Principles” that companies must adopt before investing.

A new study finds that Philadelphia is among the worst in pension solvency. Pension funds here were on average only funded up to 62%. The study’s benchmark for “healthy” is 80%.

Authorities now believe Na’illa Robinson was abducted from her West Philadelphia elementary school two days ago by three suspects. Little Robinson was found early Tuesday in an Upper Darby playground by a passerby, with nothing but a black T-shirt to keep her warm.
